2023 Series

THE FUTSAL CHAMPIONS SERIES WILL FEATURE 2 SERIES and a tournament FOR 23/24 SEASON.

The Tournament

THE TOURNAMENT SERVES AS OUR LAUNCH TO THE SERIES.

The FCS tournament is the kickoff to the FCS series.
Location: Lansing City Arena - 904 Elmwood Rd, Lansing, MI 48917
Saturday, October 7th - Sunday October 8th
The tournament is open to any level of Futsal team including local Lansing teams, amateur, semi-professional, and professional
The winner of the tournament and runner up will earn automatic placement in the Champions division of the November/December series.
The tournament format will be a round robin play with seeding for single elimination knockout round
Registration Deadline is September 1st, 2023
The cost of the tournament is $500 and includes all referee fees

The Series

THE MAIN LOCATION FOR THE SERIES IS THE LANSING CITY ARENA IN LANSING, MICHIGAN. HOWEVER, TEAMS THAT ARE ACCEPTED INTO THE SERIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO HOST THEIR OWN HOME GAMES AND INVEST IN VENUES TO SUPPORT MINIMUM FIFA INTERNATIONAL FUTSAL STANDARDS AND PROVIDE A QUALITY ENVIRONMENT FOR HIGH LEVEL FUTSAL. Each series is played in a round robin format. After the round robin, the bottom team does not advance to the playoffs. A single elimination playoff will follow including a championship match.

(THE LOCAL LEVEL IS THE ONLY LEVEL THAT IS PROHIBITED FROM HOSTING THEIR OWN GAMES. ALL GAMES IN THE LOCAL LEVEL WILL BE HOSTED AT THE LANSING CITY ARENA)

CHampions

Entrance into the Champions level is granted based on three criteria. History of the club/team. Promoted from Premier level. Winner of FCS tournament. There is no franchise fee, or team fee that is required for the Champions division. A referee fee is the only cost associated besides applicable fines for various disciplinary issues.

The first series will take place in November & December. The series will take up to 6 teams. Applications will be open from June 1st, 2023 - September, 1st, 2023.
The second series will take place January - March 2024. The series will take up to 6 teams. Applications will be open from June 1st, 2023 - November 1st, 2023.

Team Application

Entrance into the Premier level is granted based on three criteria. History of the club/team. Promoted from Local level . Winner of FCS tournament. Team Application

Local

All teams are accepted in to the local level of the FCS. The goal of the local level is to provide an amateur level of futsal to the Lansing area. Local men's open teams, 30+ men's teams, and local colleges are encouraged to join this division. The league is run much like a men's open indoor league with opportunity to be promoted to compete with higher level teams. The cost to compete in each local series is $500 for the first series and $600 for the second series not including referee fees. The first series will have a minimum of 6 games with the second series having a minimum of 8 games. Roster size encouraged is a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 14.
